My Bagpuss Digi Kits from Craft Artist arrived yesterday so after having a HUGE think about what I wanted to do 1st with the kit, I arrived at this idea! Isn't it gorgeous - the only problem is I don't think I really want to write in it! As you can see its got lots of bits on it and I have always wanted a book with all the ribbons down the side and now I have lol!
I was asked to my a 65th Birthday card without the number's on it for a lady who is having a Vintage surprise party this weekend - her husband gave me a evening to put something together! So this is what I came up with. He was really pleased and loved the fact I had put a bird on it as that's also part of the theme (yes we have been living this party for the last 2 months at work and I do listen lol!)
He was really happy with it and I hope she is too!
Well thank goodness its the weekend tomorrow, its kind of been a long week here and with not a lot of crafting time! Well last night I decided to have a little play and came across this dramatic backing paper/card. so I thought I would try and make a dramatic card lol! So out came my favourite sentiments from Dreamees that you can find HERE they are called Recipe Stamp along with my Essential Flowers stamps that you can fine HERE oh not forgetting the gorgeous Butterfly that you can find HERE. I have used ribbons, papers and gems and doily all from my stash and this is how the card turned out!
Have you seen the Spectrum Noirs Summer challenge yet? I runs from now till the end of July and all they want to see is a Summery card - nice and easy or what! So I decided that I would have a go and try and make a card to fit that challenge - I end up using my favourite stamp from Crafters Companion, its called "Make a Wish" which I have coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens and pencils.
I have used
BG1,2 & 3 as well as pencils 112 &117 36 for her ears, her dress is coloured with LG2,3,4 & 5 as well as pencils 45 and 59, the pink is FS 9 as well as 34,35, 29 and 36, lastly the star is pencils 13,15 and 107. I have added glitter too her too!
Isn't she cute! Why don't you join in the fun over on the FB page HERE

Along with once again bits and pieces from my stash box (I am really determined to use it all up lol!) I have used my Die-sire Ivy die also from Crafters Companion too (I love this die!) and some odd poinsettia flowers and card candi too. Soooo do you think its cute?
